Coventry Food Network secured £60,000 from Coventry City Council in April 2022 to develop a programme and timescale for the sustainability for Coventry Food Network.

From Summer 2022 Coventry Holiday Activities and Food Programme partnered with CFN several organisations including Canley Community Centre, Moat House Community Trust, Holbrook’s Community Care Association and Foleshill Community Centre,

We secured £15,000 from Coventry Building Society to deliver the Healthy Meals. Healthy Choices programme in schools and Food Hubs during the Autumn in partnership with Groundwork at Stoke Primary, Joseph Cash and Southfields Primary School.

 

In October 2022 CFN secured £200,000 from Coventry Building Society Business in the Community continue to support us by engaging businesses such as Capita and Severn Trent; organising food collections and connecting with business volunteers.

 

We partner with Neighbourly to collect surplus food from local supermarkets including Aldi, Lidl and Marks and Spencer.

We partner with FareShare to re-distribute surplus food across CFN.

We are piloting with Morrisons’ stores a 10% on spends over £50.

CFN’s reputation for innovation and delivery has resulted in being selected for a national pilot with Feeding Britain and MWW a major private supplier of fruit and vegetables.
